12 When thou shalt till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength: a [a]vagabond and a runagate shalt thou be in the earth.
13 Then Cain said to the Lord, [b][c]My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast cast me out this day from [d]the earth, and from thy face shall I be hid, and shall be a vagabond, and a runagate in the earth, and whosoever findeth me shall slay me.
